  • SUMMER LIBRARY - Beginning  June 6, the East library will be open Tuesdays from 9am-12pm for Unit 7 students to check out books and take Accelerated Reader tests. We hope to see our students out here getting some good books to read!
  • Summer Packets: Each student received a summer packet with activities selected by teachers at East. We hope that a few review and practice pages each week can help students retain important reading and math skills they learned this year and keep them ready for next year.

As an incentive, students that complete their summer packet and turn it in get to enjoy an epic reward party with pizza, ice cream, and an extra-long recess once we’re back in August!

  • Our character education throughout the year is framed as the “Rocket R’s.” Each quarter students are learning about being Respectful, Responsible, & Resilient. One student from each class was recognized as having demonstrated excellent character at school during the second quarter. Congratulations to our 4th Quarter SOAR Award winners:

    • Kindergarten: Amelia Mahan

    • 1st: Emerie Germano & Scarlet Huff

    • 2nd: Piper Cremeens & Norah Zumbahlen

    • 3rd: Abel Jayne & Brooklyn Weaver

Families with returning students will be able to complete a fully-online registration, beginning August 1, while in-person registration for new families and Kindergarten students will take place on Tuesday, August 1 and Wednesday, August 2, by appointment.

  • Save the Date: Whether your child is returning or new to our school, we hope everyone can join us at our Back-to-School Open House on Tuesday, August 15, from 5:30-7:00pm. It will be a fun evening to meet teachers, drop off supplies, and enjoy seeing our school community.

Have a great summer!
