We are getting closer to the end of the year. Please keep your eyes open for messages from teachers about end of the year events going on at each grade level. We can also start looking forward to next year, as the Board of Education has approved next year’s school calendar.

ABC Countdown-We have started a schoolwide ABC Countdown to the end of the year. The events on the countdown calendar are completely optional for students. You can view the calendar here.
May Breakfast and Lunch Menus-Please click here for the menus for the month of May. There may be times that there are menu changes, we will attempt to notify you as soon as we find out of a change.
Girls on the Run Fundraiser-The Unity West Girls on the Run Team is collecting donations for the Champaign County Humane Society. Please click here to view the Humane Society’s Wish List.
Fine Arts Festival -The Unity West Fine Arts Festival is coming on May 15th. Ms. Hanners is asking for volunteers to help with set up of the event and during the event itself. Please click here to volunteer.
Talent Show Auditions-There will be a talent show as part of the Fine Arts Festival on May 15th. Please watch for more details coming soon.
Jazz & Java-The annual Jazz & Java showcasing Unity’s music groups from grades 5-12 will take place on Friday, May 3 in the high school gym! Come see Unity East and Unity West bands and choirs perform together for the first time under one roof along with our high school groups Surreal Sound, Vocal Rush, Pep Band and Jazz Band!
Coffee and delicious desserts will be sold during the show. $2 admission. Performances start at 6:30 pm! Reserve your dinner before the show, catered by Dish Passionate Cuisine! Serving 5 - 6:15 pm. Dental Forms-Dental forms are due to the school for all Kindergarteners and 2nd graders by May 15th.

Route 45 Wayside Spring Restaurant Fundraiser - Eat at Wayside between 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. on Monday, May 6, mention the Unity West fundraiser and 20% of your bill (excluding alcohol) will be donated to Unity West. Monday’s specials are the Slaw Burger or Humpty Dumpty Burger with fries. Please note Wayside is cash only.
PTO Meeting Date Change – With lots of end-of-the-year events, the May PTO meeting as been moved to THURSDAY, May, 16, 2024 in the Unity West Library.
