In order to turn our vision into a reality we agree to carry out the mission of developing students of sound character and critical minds who are productive, successful members of society by making the following commitments:

For Our Students –

We will teach character traits and serve as role models by holding high expectations for ourselves.  We will make Unity East a safe and structured place to learn.  We will make every effort to use the best teaching and learning strategies that meet students’ needs.  We commit to help our students by working together alongside their families.  We will do our best to make school a positive and challenging experience for all.

For Our Students’ Families –

We will nurture and care for your child while they are at school.  We will keep the lines of communication open and work collaboratively on behalf of your child.  We will be consistent so you will know our expectations.  We will help to foster character and independence in your child.

For Our Colleagues –

We will actively participate in collaboration and utilize best practices with integrity.  We will be professional and hold each other accountable for student learning.  We will bring enthusiasm to Unity East!
