About the Teacher

I hold a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education from Illinois Wesleyan University and a Master's degree in Educational Administration from Eastern Illinois University.Since becoming a teacher I have continued my professional development by attending workshops and training, including the Illinois State Gifted Education and CRISS Teaching Strategies programs. I live in Urbana with my wife and have been in the area for many years. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors with my bicycle or kayak, working around the house, or spending time with family and friends. From time to time I like to enjoy a good book. My wife and I are involved with the youth group at our church and have enjoyed learning and serving alongside students. We love to travel, particularly to visit our family and friends all over the country. This section is a little information about
who I am. More than who I am, however, I hope
you know that I consider it a privilege to work with the students in
my classroom and care deeply for their success both within my class and
